Eyelash extensions are crucial in accentuating your style and making your eyes stand out, completing your look. With eyelash extensions being so popular, more and more women are wanting to try them out themselves. And, although they are a great way to stand out and have a more unique look, they also require proper care.
We have talked about the necessary steps of taking care of your eyelashes and helping them last longer in one of our previous articles; however, there are many more important components in taking proper care of your beloved extensions.
One of the ways to ensure the beauty of your new eyelashes and their longevity is through lash baths. Lash baths are exactly what they sound - just a way to properly clean your eyelashes and keep them clean. They can be done at home or professionally at a salon, and are necessary to get rid of any makeup, bacteria or oil residue.
Since eyelash extensions require some extra care and attention, simply rinsing them or rubbing them will only harm them. To make sure your eyelashes stay clean and last longer, you should make sure to clean your eyelashes every evening.
For at home lash baths, all you would need is a lash cleansing brush and a special eyelash foam solution. This will make sure that all of the leftover makeup, dirt, oils or any bacteria will be removed from your eyelashes avoiding any potential irritation or infections.
After using the special cleanser, thoroughly rinse with water and gently pat dry with cotton rounds or towel, or blow dry it with cool settings on.
Despite some extra steps to take care of your eyelash extensions, they are still an amazing way to complete your look and make you stand out from the crowd.
